    Description

2001 Barry Bonds Home Runs 498 & 499 Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. Aptly named Sam Bat "Rideau Crusher" delivered the sport's Home Run King to the precipice of immortality, as Bonds homered in consecutive games in Milwaukee to record his 498th and 499th career long balls. It's a bat that a blind man could attribute to Bonds, as the barrel is coated with the most deeply imprinted stitch marks we've ever encountered, bearing witness to a power stroke unrivaled in the sport's history. Bonds' custom grip tape remains on the uncracked handle, with a handwritten "498/499" applied in the dugout to identify the relevance of this particular specimen. Later, Bonds signed the barrel in 9/10 silver sharpie, notating, "4-14-01 #498, 4-15-01 #499."

Handwriting at cupped barrel end provides all specifications: "34", 32.1 oz., 03.09.01, Bonds B.B." An unimprovable specimen from the most terrifying force ever to step into a Major League batter's box. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Barry Bonds Authenticated sticker on barrel. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
