2001 Alex Rodriguez Game Used Home Run Bat With A-Rod Signed Letter. Alex Rodriguez was a consistent force during his formidable years in the big leagues. If his calculations are correct, A-Rod used this Louisville Slugger C271 bat (33.75" and 30.7 ounces) when he smacked his 31st home run of the 2001 season. It was a banner year for the slugger as he copped his first home run title. Great use is shown with white leather baseball smudges throughout, soil marks and cleat marks dispersed on all angles. Rodriguez signed the barrel in 10/10 silver paint pen and inscribed "2001 game used" as well. The uncracked lumber has moderate pine tar buildup on the handle and a cupped end. Letter of provenance from Alex Rodriguez. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
