Description

2000-02 Jim Thome Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. Signature model Louisville Slugger M356 is the style used by the prolific long ball artist during his final three seasons with the Tribe. This particular specimen exhibits solid game use from a period that saw Thome averaging forty-six home runs per season, and the deeply imbedded stitch marks suggest one or two were directed into the seats from its barrel. Pine tar on uncracked handle, leading down to custom tape job at knob. Length thirty-four and three-quarter inches (34.75"), weight thirty-one and a half ounces (31.5 oz.). Silver marker writing on barrel end identified bat in the rack, but the writing is quite worn today. A real workhorse from one of the best-liked stars of the game. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5.
