1999 Wade Boggs Game Used Bat Signed "Game Used '99' Season." Despite getting a relatively late to his big league career, Wade Boggs was the American League's answer to Tony Gwynn. In 15 of his 18 years, Boggs hit above the .300 threshold. Used by Boggs' as he was winding down his career is this Louisville Slugger model B349 lumber. The uncracked stick (35 ounces and 34.5") has a healthy layer of pine tar applied and shows excellent use characteristics. A few blue baseball stamping marks appear on the back barrel as is a layer of deadwood. "12" is written on the knob. Boggs offered his personal authentication with a 10/10 blue felt tip signature and "HOF 05 Game Used '99 Season" inscription. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
