Description
1999 Edgar Martinez Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7.5. Since the increase in popularity of the designated hitter in the 1970s, Edgar Martinez has placed himself firmly near the top of the list of best DH's ever. Here we present one of his preferred weapons of choice in the form of a pro model Adirondack bat (34" and 29.3 ounces) from the 1999 season with the Mariners. The bat suffered a handle crack which spelled the end of the line. The knob has "456B 9000 99" and "30 "Martinez" written. Martinez signed the barrel in 9/10 ink. Athletic tape surrounds the knob area. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7.5. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.Auction Info
