Description

1999-2000 Mike Piazza Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. Mike Piazza's big league career began in earnest as Tommy Lasorda drafted the backstop as a favor to Piazza's father. Boy did the skipper hit on that one. The Hall of Fame backstop dominated the competition when he swung this Mizuno Pro. LTD bat (34.5" and 32.5 ounces) from1999-2000 as a member of the Mets. Excellent use is showcased on the uncracked blonde bat with ball marks on the left and back barrel. Numerous black bat rack streaks decorate all angles of the bat as do stitch impressions. A few cleat marks are also found. "31" is written on the knob for identification. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9.
