    Description

1998 Bernie Williams Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. The 1998 installment of the New York Yankees could rival any baseball nine. After winning 114 games in the regular season, the pinstriped crew nearly swept through the entire postseason. This Adirondack model DW20 bat (34.5" and 32.8 ounces) was used by Bernie Williams during his remarkable campaign. Williams paced the team with a sparkling .339 average and was second in homers behind Tino Martinez. Graded a perfect GU 10 by bat expert John Taube, this uncracked gem features a multitude of ball marks, light blue baseball ink transfers and even white leather baseball marks on all angles of the barrel. Cleat impressions are the cherry on top. "DW 20 921 98" is stamped into the knob. Williams carefully signed the barrel in 10/10 silver paint pen. The bat features a cupped end. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
