1997 Ken Griffey, Jr. Home Run #3 Game Used Bat. Signature model C271 is simply pounded with ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks, dead wood, you name it. Junior's distinctive grip tape pattern remains on the handle, where a long crack spelled the end. But the future Hall of Famer personally eulogizes the lumber with a "Home Run #3" notation along with his 9/10 silver sharpie on the barrel. Length of thirty-four inches and weight of thirty and a half ounces match factory ordering records. Improper storage has left a thin film of melted plastic on the barrel which then became slightly furry from storage in a sock, but it only adds to the down and dirty look of this heavily-used war club. Final grade: GU 6. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 6. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph) Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
