1996 John Smoltz Game Used & Signed Bat with Player Provenance. John Smoltz enjoyed his greatest success as a hitter in 1996 as he drove home twelve runs and even hit a home run. This World Wynn bat (32.5 ounces and 34.5") was used by Smoltz during the 1996 campaign according to the letter of provenance from former Major Leaguer Leon Roberts. Smoltz's name is not listed on the barrel. Two rings of athletic tape are secured around the handle of the uncracked bat. "CJ" is stamped into the knob. There are ball marks and checking on the back barrel so Smoltz did make contact. Smoltz signed on in silver paint pen (8/10). Letter of provenance from Leon Roberts. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (bat & letter of provenance). Auction LOA from SGC (bat & letter of provenance). Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
