1995 Ken Griffey, Jr. Home Run #16 Game Used Bat with Griffey Letter, PSA/DNA GU 8.5.
The Mariners defeated the California Angels on September 26, 1995 when Junior used this signature model Louisville Slugger C271 to launch a solo shot off right-hander Rich Monteleone to record his sixteenth home run of the 1995 season, the 205th of his Hall of Fame career. The bat exhibits excellent game use with ball marks, stitch impressions, ink transfers, cleat marks and a light coating of pine tar on the cracked handle, which exhibits the remnants of a criss-cross grip tape application. Length is just under thirty-four inches (33.875"), weight just over thirty ounces (30.3 oz.). Barrel is autographed in 9/10 silver sharpie with Junior's "Home Run 16" notation. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5. Letter of provenance from Ken Griffey, Jr. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). Full LOA from SGC Authentic (autograph). Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA for Letter of Provenance. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic for Letter of Provenance.
