Description

1994 Edgar Martinez Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. Edgar Martínez was one of the greatest designated hitters in MLB history, known for his exceptional batting eye, consistency, and class. Spending his entire 18-year career (1987-2004) with the Seattle Mariners, Martínez posted a .312 career batting average, with 309 home runs and 1,261 RBIs, along with a stellar .418 on-base percentage. He won two batting titles and was a seven-time All-Star, thriving as a key offensive force during the Mariners' rise in the 1990s. Revered for his professionalism and quiet leadership, he became the namesake of the Edgar Martínez Award, given annually to the best designated hitter. After a long wait, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019, recognized not just for his numbers, but for redefining excellence at the DH position.
