    Description

1993-97 Barry Bonds Game Used Bat. Yes, yes, we have heard all the trash-talking about Bonds. Who hasn't? But if Bonds' late-career expansion in shirt size and long balls was the result of pharmaceutical science, it doesn't change the fact that he was one of the greatest sluggers ever, well before that first alleged injection. During the five-season period in which the presented bat may have seen use, the star slugger led the National League in walks (largely due to intentional passes) all but one year. Yet he still averaged forty homers per season during this time. The Louisville Slugger H238 bears the scars too, exhibiting "excellent game use" according to experts Malta and Taube. Length of thirty-four inches and weight of thirty-two ounces are correct for the period, and number "25" appears in vintage marker on the knob. Early style black sharpie autograph on barrel is 9/10. LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
