Description
1991-96 Tony Gwynn Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10 from The John Mayeron Collection. Tony Gwynn was a virtual maestro with a baseball bat in his hands. Able to put a pitch wherever he pleased, Gwynn pocketed eight National League batting crowns. Gwynn used this model C263 bat (32.5" and 30.9 ounces) when he was rocketing the ball into the 5.5 hole.The uncracked lumber shows excellent use with ball marks and stitch impressions on the right and front barrel from Mr. Padre hitting the baseball. Other signs of use include ball marks, black ink transfers and white scuff marks on the front barrel. Moderate pine tar and athletic tape are secured on the handle. "19 33-30 C263" are written on the knob of the treasured lumber. Gwynn signed near the branded facsimilie branding in blue ink. The end is cupped. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
