A lifetime .300 hitter with a dozen All-Star berths and ten gold gloves to his credit, Alomar wielded the presented game used lumber during his second big league season in 1989 when he led the N.L. in plate appearances with 702. Louisville Slugger model number 421S measures 33.5 inches in length and weighs 31.8 ounces. Uncracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding game use, including ball marks, black ink transfers, blue/green bat rack streaks, cleat marks and a moderate coat of pine tar on the mid to upper handle.
