1989 Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park Legends Multi-Signed Bat. Comiskey Park, opened in 1910, was a historic baseball stadium in Chicago, home to the Chicago White Sox for over 80 years. It was one of the oldest and most iconic ballparks in Major League Baseball, hosting numerous memorable events, including the infamous 1919 Black Sox Scandal. The park was known for its unique features, such as the exploding scoreboard introduced by owner Bill Veeck, which became a beloved symbol of White Sox games. Comiskey Park's significance lies in its deep connection to Chicago's baseball history, serving as a cherished landmark for generations of fans until its closure and demolition in 1990.
