1988-89 Ken Griffey, Jr. Game Used Rookie Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.
The greatest five-tool player since Willie Mays, Junior ranks sixth in career home runs, thirty behind that legendary Giants center fielder. Griffey would begin his ascent to the upper tiers of baseball immortality with bats like this one, a block-lettered Louisville Slugger C271 exhibiting excellent game use from that first season in the Bigs.

A constellation of ball marks coats the bottom barrel here, correct for Junior's left-handed thunder, with cleat marks, stitch impressions, light pine tar and scoring on the uncracked handle. Number "24" appears in marker on the knob in silver, while a 9/10 autograph on the barrel is applied in gold. Length is thirty-four inches (34"), weight thirty-one ounces (31 oz.). A picture-perfect rookie gamer from one of the very greatest to ever wear a Major League uniform. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Full LOA from SGC.
