1987-89 Gary Carter Game Used Bat. The five-time Silver Slugger swung this Rawlings Big Stick 113A in service of the New York Mets, as the model style and blue stripe dividing the handle and barrel would attest. Some fantastic ball strikes on the barrel speak to light but certain use, likely in batting practice, as does the wear on the criss-cross pattern of grip tape on the handle. The Hall of Famer's number "8" is applied in black marker to the knob and barrel end. Length and weight of thirty-five inches and thirty-three and a half ounces are proper for Carter gamers. A fine specimen to get signed by The Kid. MEARS A5.
