1986 Reggie Jackson Game Used Bat Given to Former Yankee Tom Morgan, PSA/DNA GU 8. Reggie Jackson had an affinity for the dramatic. When the lights were the brightest, Mr. October seemed destined to step up and connect on that long ball. Given directly from the Hall of Fame slugger to former Yankee Tom Morgan is this Adirondack model Jax 44 lumber - 32" and 34 ounces. A crack to the handle spelled the end of the line but Jackson put great use into the walloping stick. Blue baseball stampings and contact marks pepper the backside of the barrel from repeated contact. Cleat marks and checking are also featured. White athletic tape is secured around the scored handle. "44" is written on both ends in white paint pen and the knob has "Jax 44 86" punched in. Jackson signed the barrel in 9/10 white paint pen. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Letter of provenance from Tom Morgan Jr. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
