1986 Gary Carter All-Star Game Issued, Team Signed Bat from The Gary Carter Collection.

UPDATE: This lot has a full LOA from PSA/DNA.

All of the stars were out for the 1986 All-Star Game held at the Astrodome. Two runs in the bottom of the eighth got the National Leaguers to within a run of their counterparts but, in the end, the Junior Circuit had just enough to hang on and win. This Louisville Slugger uncracked bat (33 ounces and 33.75") was lightly used by Gary Carter. "1986 All-Star Game" is branded into the barrel. A few ball marks and bat rack streaks signify "game ready" status, but no use is apparent. Number "8" is written on the knob in black marker. Carter's teammates signed the lumber in 8/10 ink. Included are: Strawberry, Carter, Staub, Franco, Scott, Chili Davis, Valenzuela, Brown, Brooks, Gooden, Glenn Davis, Reardon, Sid Fernandez and a few more. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
