1986 Cal Ripken, Jr. Game Used Bat. A fourth consecutive Silver Slugger Award made its way to the Iron Man's mantle at the close of the 1986 season, one in which he proved himself to be the most effective American League shortstop at the plate with no small amount of assistance of the presented Louisville Slugger. The dark wood signature model P72 is absolutely dripping with use. Pounded to the point of grain separation on the barrel, the bat also exposes cleat marks, green bat rack streaks and a heavy coating of pine tar on the handle. Ripken's classic "snowman" number "8" is found in black marker on the knob, along with a handwritten "1/2" indicating the length of thirty-five and one half inches. Weight is thirty-two ounces, matching ordering records perfectly for the 1986 season. A slight handle crack has been professionally repaired. With not a fault to be found, PSA/DNA has deemed the representation a perfect GU 10. LOA from PSA/DNA.
