Description

1986-89 Tony Gwynn Game Used Professional Model Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Mr. Padre used this baby during a four-year span early in his Hall of Fame career when he claimed three consecutive batting crowns and batted .337, including a .370 mark in 1987. Displays wonderful evidence of game use including a plethora of ball marks, bat rack marks, and cleat marks, with sweet checking/crack on the barrel and tons of pine tar residue on the handle. Louisville Slugger "C263" signature model, with "19" on the knob, measures 32.25 inches in length and weighs 31.1 ounces. The bat presents beautifully. This exemplar's Hall of Fame pedigree and bat expert John Taube's grade of "9.5" speaks volumes and should make this a no-brainer when bidding opens. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9.5.
