Description

1986-89 Tony Gwynn Game Used & Signed Bat with Batting Glove, PSA/DNA GU 8. Tony Gwynn was a virtual maestro with a baseball bat in his hands. Able to put a pitch wherever he pleased, Gwynn pocketed eight National League batting crowns. This Louisville Slugger model C263 bat (32.5" and 30.3 ounces) was rocketing the ball into the 5.5 hole between 1986-89. A handle crack was repaired with glue. The bat shows tremendous use with an abundance of ball and stitch marks on the front and right barrel. Six deep depressions with red paint, possibly from frustration, are found near the barrel engravings. A moderate coat of pine tar is joined by a higher concentration near the trademark. "C263" and "19" are written on the knob. Gwynn signed the bat. A game-worn and signed batting glove (right) is also included. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
