    Description

1986-89 George Brett Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. The greatest star in Kansas City Royals history was at the height of his Hall of Fame abilities when he headed to the plate with this signature model Louisville Slugger C271 in tow, and it comes to us with solid use in the form of checking of the barrel grain, scattered ball marks and stitch impressions, and a cracked handle (and, of course, some pine tar). The thirty-four and a half inches of length and thirty-two ounces of weight are just right for the era, matching a notarized letter from the owner who states he won the prize at a Muscular Dystrophy benefit softball tournament in the early Nineties. "GB5" appears in marker on the knob, and a 9/10 blue sharpie signature on the barrel. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
