1986-89 Don Mattingly Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. While the 1980's resulted in zero championships for the New York Yankees, Don Mattingly kept fans coming back to the ballpark. His power and ability to hit for average had the Yankees near the top of the division. Donnie Baseball wrapped out plenty of hits when he swung this Louisville Slugger model T141 bat - 34" and 31.2 ounces. Blue ink transfer marks, checking and ball marks are found on the back barrel from big league use. Pine tar has accumulated on the handle of the uncracked bat. "23" is written on the knob for player identification. Mattingly chipped in with a 10/10 black felt tip signature as well. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from SGC Authentic (autograph).
