    Description

1985 Rickey Henderson All-Star Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. Rickey Henderson was baseball's finest leadoff hitter. Never before had someone exhibited power at the leadoff position like The Man of Steal. This Adirondack model DD26 bat (34" and 33.2 ounces) saw action during the 1985 All-Star Game given the red ink transfer mark on the barrel. Henderson finished with a hit that day. We are confident that Henderson used the bat well after the Midsummer Classic as well. Numerous balls marks and blue ink smudges appear on the back barrel of the uncracked bat. Checking is also visible on the back barrel. Twelve inches of athletic tape, with pine tar still showing, is found on the handle. "DD26R.H. 1985" is punched into the knob. Henderson signed the barrel in 10/10 silver paint pen. The finest Henderson bat we have seen. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
