1985 Pete Rose Game Issued Bat. Pete Rose was as determined a player as anyone before him. Willing to do anything to win, "Charlie Hustle" will forever be remembered as one of the greatest hitters in the history of the game. Over 4,200 hits, 2,165 runs and a lifetime batting mark over .300, he also added a Rookie of the Year award, N.L. MVP, World Series MVP, and a trio of World Series victories.

The offered game ready bat is even more special in that its labeling points to a 1985 year of issue, the very year Rose broke Ty Cobb's all time hits record. Although prepped for game use, and obviously well worn, the bat likely never saw game action. Still it is a special year for Rose bats. Measuring thirty-four inches and weighing thirty-one ounces, the Louisville Slugger Model R219 Pete Rose Professional model bat is uncracked and taped with six small rings and one large ring. Rose's number "14" is written on the knob. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, Game Issued.
