    Description

1983 Rod Carew All-Star Game Used Bat. The Hall of Fame infielder assigns this signature model Hillerich & Bradsby F147 to use in the "All-Star Game, Comiskey Park, 1983," along with his 10/10 black sharpie signature, and we have no reason to doubt his claim. PSA/DNA bat expert John Taube confirms the production to the 1982-83 period, and the length (34.5") and weight (32.1 oz.) are both correct for this era as well. Outstanding use is evident with ball marks, stitch impressions, rack streaks, pine tar and a repaired handle crack. Number "29" appears in vintage marker at each end. A top-tier example well deserving of its GU 9 assessment. LOA from PSA/DNA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
