1982-83 Ken Griffey, Sr. Game Used Bat. A three-time All-Star and two-time World Series Champion, Ken Senior did much more for baseball than just father a superstar son. The fine use on this signature model Louisville Slugger S216 proves that the youngster came by his hitting skills honestly, and that the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Tremendous ball and deeply imbedded stitch marking paints the dark wood of the barrel amid a constellation of cleat marks and very light dead wood on the backside. Length in inches and weight in ounces both equal thirty-four. Number "30" is applied to the knob in red Dymo tape. Factory records indicate that Griffey first ordered S216 bats on April 20, 1982, dating this offering to his earliest seasons in Yankee Stadium. Uncracked. SCD A8.5.
