1981 Mike Schmidt Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9--MVP Season! Check out the Hall of Fame third baseman's stat line from 1981 and you'll find it awash in the bold text of National League supremacy, the superstar slugger claiming two-thirds of the Triple Crown (31 home runs, 91 RBI's) in a strike-shortened season, as well as top marks for walks (73), slugging (.644) and total bases (228). Who knows how crazy those numbers would have become with a full 162 games of action.This is one of the most "pounded" gamers we've ever encountered, from Schmidt or any other player, so it clearly had a great deal to provide to those Senior Circuit superlatives. Ball marks and cleat marks mix with green and red rack streaks on the barrel, while tape secures the handle crack that ended the lumber's long service to its master. The Adirondack MS20D measures thirty-five and a half inches (35.5") in length and weighs thirty-four ounces (33.9 oz.). Number "20" is written in black marker on the knob.
