    Description

1980's Roy Campanella Signed Bat. The humble backstop may not have garnered the attention that followed Jackie, Pee Wee and the Duke during that most glorious era of New York City baseball, but there was arguably no more essential component in the sustained success of those last Brooklyn Dodgers teams than Roy Campanella. A tragic automobile accident after the 1957 season brought a sudden end to his Hall of Fame career, but he was still able to produce a limited supply of autographed relics, of which this is one. His blue sharpie signature is shaky but maintains 7/10 boldness on this perfect replica of his signature model Hillerich & Bradsby. Thirty-four inches (34"). Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
