    Description

1980-83 Steve Garvey Game Used Bat. With ten All-Star appearances, four Gold Gloves and a League M.V.P. (1974), it's clear why the star first baseman is so fondly remembered by the fans of Los Angeles and San Diego. This signature model Louisville Slugger C263 exhibits heavy use from an era that saw Garvey lead the Dodgers to a World Championship, and later set sail for the Padres. Ball, stitch, rack and cleat marks abound on the barrel, which is missing a nine-inch sliver from the back, invisible upon display. A faded number "6" in marker is visible on the knob. Weight is thirty-five ounces; length thirty-four and three-quarter inches. SCD A5. LOA from Dan Knoll & Dave Bushing/ SCD Authentic.
