1980-83 Carl Yastrzemski Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. Long gone are the days where a player stays with one team for an entire career. Free agency and the lure of greener pastures elsewhere have become commonplace in sports. Carl Yastrzemski was a fixture with the Red Sox his twenty-three year career. His 3,419 hits, 3,308 games played and 1,844 RBI's are tops in the team's rich history.

Yaz used this Louisville Slugger model C271 bat (34.5" and 30.6 ounces) as his career was winding down. A crack on the handle spelled the end of the line for this fine specimen. Ball marks pepper the left barrel from hitting the baseball. A portion of the knob is colored white so "8" could be applied for identification. Yaz sealed the deal with a silver paint pen signature. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.5. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
