    1978 Jim Rice Game Used Bat From MVP Season, PSA/DNA GU 8. Jim Rice used Fenway Park to his advantage as he forged a Hall of Fame career within the confines of the stadium. This Louisville Slugger model B267 bat (35.5" and 31.8 ounces) saw action when Rice had his finest offensive season in 1978. Rice hit .315 with a career high forty-six home runs and 139 RBI's. A few cleat marks and ball marks are found on the lumber. Moderate pine tar is secured on the handle as well. "14" is written on the knob in thick black marker. Uncracked. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.
