1977-79 Team Ordered Game Used Pete Rose Bat. While we have every reason to believe that this bat saw action in the skilled hands of the Hit King, we are unable to state this definitively. The fact of the matter is that this model does not show up on Rose's ordering records for the period, though he did favor the style in earlier years. This familiar model number, along with the physical characteristics of use and the clearly vintage number "14" on the knob, make a strong case for use by Rose. The signature model Hillerich & Bradsby measures thirty-four and a half inches in length at a weight of thirty-four ounces and shows medium use with a repaired handle crack. Solid ball marks are clearly visible on the barrel, and the handle is darkened by aged pine tar. Adding a final bit of appeal is a 10/10 full name blue sharpie autograph on the barrel, "Peter Edward Rose." LOA from Taube & Malta. LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
