Description

1977-79 Dale Murphy Game Used Signed Bat. Dale Murphy disputes Leo Durocher's notation that good guys finish last. The two-time NL MVP was equally popular with fans and players as he enjoyed a Hall of Fame worthy career.

Measuring just a short of thirty-four and a half inches is this model U1 Louisville Slugger bat used by the slugger between 1977-79. About eight and a half inches of the back barrel has splintered off as Murphy must been sawed off by the opposition. Slight grain checking is visible on the back barrel and there are bat rack marks and a few marks from contact. A flared knob is also featured. Murphy signed the uncracked thirty-one ounce stick in blue sharpie. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
