    Description

1977-78 Lyman Bostock Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic.
The tremendously gifted batsman was killed in a tragic shooting near the end of the 1978 season. The baseball world would never know how good the hitter could have been. This Louisville Slugger model C243 bat (34.25" and 31.2 ounces) was used during Bostock's final two years. The handle has suffered a slight crack. Good overall use is exhibited on the lumber with moderate checking on the back barrel. Heavier deadwood is found near the barrel's stampings. Some flaking is visible on the barrel. "10" markered on the knob. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
