Octavio Victor "Cookie" Rojas Rivas signed with the Cincinnati Reds at age seventeen, against the wishes of his father who wanted him to become a doctor. He made steady progress through the Reds' system before debuting in 1962 in the Queen City. He was shipped to Philadelphia the next season where he spent seven campaigns as a super utility before making stops with both Missouri teams, finishing out his 16-year career with eight seasons in KC.

Offered is a Louisville Slugger Genuine K55 Cookie Rojas model bat, measuring 34.5", the cracked lumber shows solid game usage with a number of ball marks on the barrel and dead wood on the reverse. Presence of the Bi-Centennial branding dates the bat to 1976. Cracked on the mid-handle on the reverse side of the bat. Letter of Provenance from Kansas City Royals Batboy.
