1975 Hank Aaron Signed & Inscribed Game Used Bat Attributed to Career Home Run #745, PSA/DNA GU 7. When Hammerin' Henry left Atlanta and the National League at the conclusion of his historic 1974 season, in which he surpassed Babe Ruth on the all-time home run list, his lifetime dingers tally stood at 733. In his two seasons with the Brewers in Milwaukee, he would add twelve and ten home runs in 1975 and 1976, respectively.

Aaron's H&B A99 model on offered here dates from the 1975 period, measuring 35" in length and weighing 31.3 ounces. The uncracked ash wood bat with natural finish exhibits light use, which is common for Aaron gamers of this period as he was constantly being asked for his game bats after he became the all-time home run king. His signature and "9-14-75 HR #745" inscription affixed to the barrel in NRMT back sharpie puts the finishing touch on this fine exemplar.

Aaron recorded his last home run of 1975 off the Boston Red Sox's "Spaceman" Bill Lee on September 12, 1975. In addition to being his twelfth home run of the season, it was also the 745th of his career. After the game, his agent Bob Allen claims that Aaron gave him the bat used to hit the home run. Fast forward twenty-nine years later to 2004. The bat on offer here is autographed and inscribed by Aaron at a signing contracted with Allen. Aaron only agrees to affixed the inscription after it can be confirmed that there is no record of his 745th home run bat residing in Baseball Hall of Fame, Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame, or a private collection. This lot is accompanied by a 2004 notarized letter attesting to the claims of the signing stated above. Full LOA from SGC Authentic. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). Full LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7.
