1973-75 Willie McCovey Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. Bob Gibson called him "the scariest hitter in baseball," an opinion held by many of the pitchers who were victimized for McCovey's 521 career home runs. It's likely that a few of those long balls were launched from the barrel of the provided Hillerich & Bradsby model S2 bat - labeling period 1973-75. The uncracked bat (35" and 32.2 ounces) has hit marks on the right barrel and is decorated with red and blue bat rack marks. "44" is written in fading black marker and "32" written on the knob. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
