1973-75 Rod Carew Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7.5. Baseball's ultimate singles hitter, Rod Carew had very few equals during his lengthy career. Able to spray the ball wherever he pleased, the lefty garnered seven batting titles during a Hall of Fame career. Some say watching Carew in the batting cages was a thing of beauty. Swung by Carew between 1973-75 is this magnificent Hillerich & Bradsby model C243 bat - 34.5" and 39.7 ounces. We are pleased to report Carew won batting titles each of the three years of the bat's labeling period. Ball/hit marks are found on the right and front barrel from contact. Light evidence of checking is also apparent. Pine tar is spread throughout the handle region of the uncracked lumber. "29" is written in vintage black marker to the handle, which has "C243" punched in. Carew sealed the deal with a 9/10 black felt tip inscription and Hall of Fame induction date inscription. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7.5. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
