Description

1973-75 Johnny Bench Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. The three-season production span of this signature model Hillerich & Bradsby B278 finds the Hall of Fame catcher at the peak of his greatness, leading the National League in runs batted in (129) and total bases (315) in 1974 before claiming World Championship glory in 1975. We can't be certain of the exact season this beauty saw action, but we can see a lot of it in the multiple ball marks, cleat divots and rack streaks on the barrel, with heavy pine tar on the lightly cracked handle. Length is thirty-five and a half inches (35.5"), weight thirty-one ounces (31.2 oz.). Blue sharpie signature on the knob is perfect, as is the "HOF 89" notation in Bench's hand. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
