    Description

1973-75 Hank Aaron Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Hank Aaron's numbers rank near the top of any slugger who stepped up to the plate. A consistent slugger his entire career, Aaron's home run record is still considered tops among baseball aficionados. When Hammerin' Hank swung this Hillerich & Bradsby model A99 bat (1973-75), he was beginning to near the finish line. Given the extensive use exhibited, we bet Aaron connected on a few long balls with the uncracked bat - 35" and 32.3 ounces. PSA/DNA Bat Authenticator John Taube graded the fine lumber GU 9.5. Multiple ball marks appear on the front, left and back barrel, and there is checking as well. Blue and red bat rack streaks decorate the trademark region. Nearly 8" of pine tar is spattered on the handle. "44" is markered on both ends and the knob has "A99" punched in. Collectors will be hard-pressed finding another bat as nice as this piece of baseball history. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9.5.
