1973-75 Carl Yastrzemski/Dwight Evans Game Used Bat - Signed by Yastrzemski, PSA/DNA GU 7. Baseball players are superstitious above all else. If something works they go back to it time and time again. Carl Yastrzemski used this personal model Louisville Slugger model W215 (34" and 33.2 ounces) between 1973-75 before Dwight Evans took over. "8" is written on the knob along with "Game" to differentiate a game bat from a batting practice bat. This was darkened out and "24" was written on the side. The left and right barrel are scored and PSA/DNA bat authenticator John Taube notated the bat being used by Evans. Numerous cleat marks are found on the back barrel and there are ball marks visible. Yaz signed the bat in black marker. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
