1972 All-Star Game Commemorative Bat from The Brooks Robinson Collection. The first in an eleven-game winning streak for the National League, the 1972 Midsummer Classic marked the start of the longest consecutive string of victories for either side in the history of the exhibition. This is a souvenir of that important occasion, an Adirondack Big Stick engraved with Robinson's name and affixed with an engraved plaque reading, "To Commemorate the 1972 All Star Game, Atlanta Stadium, July 25th, Atlanta, Georgia." Moderate handling/storage wear, but aesthetics remain strong. Letter of provenance from Brooks Robinson.
