    Description

1971 Bob Feller Old Timers Game Used Bat. Rather than dividing the teams by the Leagues the players had represented, this Veterans Stadium affair pitted the southpaws against the righties, with the owner of this bat a representative of the latter. The star-studded affair included Richie Ashburn, Enos Slaughter, Stan Musial, Monte Irvin, Joe DiMaggio, Robin Roberts and Satchel Paige, each of whom was issued a Hillerich & Bradsby for the occasion. This is Feller's model, a bat that would command a solid five-figure price if it dated to his playing career. "Old Timers Game, Philadelphia - 1971" lettering frames the facsimile signature on the barrel of the C12 model, which measures thirty-five inches in length and thirty-one ounces in weight. Minimal use is to be expected from a fifty-three year old pitcher. Black sharpie signature on the barrel rates 9+/10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
