1971-72 Willie McCovey Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8 from The Gary Carter Collection. Along with Hank Aaron and Reggie Jackson, this man made the double-fours the most frightening digits for opposing pitchers to find in the batter's box. The author of 521 long balls inflicted light to medium wear to the surface of the provided Hillerich & Bradsby K44 in the early 1970's before gifting it to Gary Carter some years later. The bat measures thirty-five and a half inches (35.5") in length and weighs thirty-four ounces (34 oz.). Number "44" is written in vintage marker on knob end, while barrel is inscribed and signed to Carter in bold black sharpie. Uncracked. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
