    Description

1970-72 Amos Otis Kansas City Royals Game Used Bat. Amos Otis spent his formative years in Kansas City and helped transform the organization in the 1970's. A five-time All-Star and three time Gold Glove recipient, Otis created action with his speed. In 1971, Otis paced the American League in thefts.

Offered is an uncracked 36" Louisville Slugger Genuine Amos "Jose" Otis S226 model. Solid usage throughout with wear throughout the barrel. Knob features a number "26" written in black marker. Stamping dates the bat from 1969 to 1972 but the number on the knob narrows that to Otis' first three seasons in Kansas City. Letter of Provenance from Kansas City Royals Batboy.
