1969 Ed Kranepool World Series Game Used Bat. Ed Kranepool withstood plenty of dark days as he was part of the inaugural version of the New York Mets. That had to make playing on the 1969 championship team that much sweeter. Steady Eddie swung this Hillerich & Bradsby model K55 bat (31 ounces and 34.75") during the Amazin' Mets World Series run. Light use, as would be expected from a World Series gamer, is present with a few scant white ball marks. White and red bat rack streaks appear on the barrel. According to an attending MEARS Authentic LOA, this originated from Kranepool's personal collection. "K55" is stamped into the knob of the uncracked gem. "World Series 1969 New York Mets" is engraved near Kranepool's facsimile notation. Kranepool signed the barrel and inscribed "1969 World Champs" in 10/10 black felt tip. LOA from MEARS. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
