1969-72 Ron Santo Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. The Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer was the team's most prolific offensive weapon during the four-season production span of the provided lumber, outpacing even the great Ernie Banks in average home runs (23) and runs batted in (100) per year. The bat speaks loudly to that eventful time, exhibiting use characterized as "outstanding" by the experts at PSA/DNA. A wide array of ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks and rack streaks appear throughout, with heavy pine tar at the cracked and professionally repaired handle. Number "10" appears in black marker on knob. Length and weight of thirty-four and a half inches (34.5) and thirty-one and a half ounces (31.5 oz.) perfectly match Santo's ordering records for Hillerich & Bradsby S2's. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Letter of provenance from grandson of original owner.
