1969-72 Dick McAuliffe Detroit Tigers Game Used Bat.
Playing a robust 16 seasons in the big leagues, Dick McAuliffe earned three All-Star appearances in the mid-1960s and won a ring with the Tigers in 1968.

Offered is a Louisville Slugger Genuine Dick McAuliffe H176 model bat, measuring 35" and weighing 28.8 ounces, the cracked lumber shows excellent game usage with heavy ball and cleat markings on the barrel with some tarring evident. Tape on the upper handle and taper obscures the crack. Knob features a small "31" written in black marker, likely the original weight of the bat as McAuliffe never wore 31. Stamping dates the bat from 1969 to 1972, when McAuliffe was with the Detroit Tigers. Letter of Provenance from Kansas City Royals Batboy.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
